Kennedy Center Social Practice Resident, Dr. Elizabeth Rule will be holding an open call audition Tuesday, July 25, 2023 to be a part of her project titled, Moon Time. Moon Time follow as an indigenous woman whose infertility forces her to confront the contours of community belonging under settler colonialism. Navigating blood quantum, intergenerational trauma, and the IVF industry, the main character must find healing for herself and her family.

Audition Description:

This is an open call audition for a non-union paid opportunity. No previous acting experience is required for registration.

Kennedy Center Social Practice Resident, Dr. Elizabeth Rule (Chickasaw) will be holding an audition for the production of her pilot episode, Moon Time, a 30-minute dramedy series. If cast, actors will be a part of rehearsals and a live staged table reading at The REACH at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵÃâ·Ñ°æapp in August 2023.

Inspired by real events, Moon Time tells the story of a young Indigenous woman whose infertility forces her to confront the contours of community belonging under settler colonialism. Navigating blood quantum, intergenerational trauma, and the IVF industry, the main character must find healing for herself and her family.

Audition Expectations:

• Must fill out the Microsoft Form form to participate.
  • Registration will open Saturday, June 26^th
• Must bring a headshot and CV of any past performance history to the audition
• Participants will read an expert from the script in groups
  • Script materials will be sent out on Friday, July 21st
  • Participants can choose their preferred role they would like to read. If cast, actors may not be cast in the same role they auditioned for.
