²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵÃâ·Ñ°æapp website is provided for the information and convenience of Kennedy Center patrons and to support the Center's mission to promote performing arts and education throughout the United States. Your use of the Kennedy Center site (http://www.kennedy-center.org), including all sites under that domain (the “Website”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Your Kennedy Center Account

A Kennedy Center account is required in order to purchase tickets to Kennedy Center events via www.kennedy-center.org, as well as to purchase products, prepay for parking and to access certain other interactive features. Your account will always save information about upcoming performances or other events for which you have purchased tickets via the Kennedy Center website(s). When you register for an account, you will be asked about your contact information and communications preferences.

You are able to log into your account and change any of these preferences and your saved information at any time.

Note that the Kennedy Center may retain credit card information in our databases until after the last performance date for which you have purchased tickets or for other reasons. This data is saved in accordance with the Kennedy Center’s Privacy Policy and payment card industry best practices.

Conditions of Sale

  • Artists, programs, prices and times subject to change without notice.
  • Sold subject to the terms and conditions provided at the time of purchase.
  • License granted herein may be revoked by refund of established price.
  • Any tickets suspected of being purchased for the sole purpose of reselling will be canceled at the discretion of the Kennedy Center, and the buyer may be denied future ticket purchase privileges at the Kennedy Center.
  • Sale of tickets on Kennedy Center premises other than by box office is prohibited.
  • Kennedy Center is not responsible for tickets sold by unauthorized entities.
  • The fraudulent acquisition and/or use of accessible seating is strictly prohibited and may result in relocation or ejection.
  • Late seating subject to discretion and procedures of management or performers.
  • The performance you attend may be broadcast or recorded one or more times, and any such broadcast or recording may include images of the audience or individuals in the audience. Attendance at the event shall be deemed consent to appear on such broadcasts or recordings.
  • Surtitles and infrared listening devices are provided as a free service for our audience members, and no refunds will be made for any malfunctions of these services.
  • Audience photography, recording, or reproduction in any form of the event for which a ticket is issued is prohibited and may result in seizure of equipment or removal of patron from theater, for which no refund shall be issued.
  • Kennedy Center may inspect and prohibit personal items in the theaters.
  • All persons regardless of age must have a ticket for admission. 
  • NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.

Comment and Posting Policy

²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵÃâ·Ñ°æapp may provide certain interactive features, such as blogs and comment sections, which permit patrons to actively engage in discussion of Kennedy Center programs and the performing arts. ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵÃâ·Ñ°æapp encourages you to interact with its Websites, subject to the following conditions:

  • You may not post any content that may be viewed as unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, libelous, obscene, false, inflammatory, pornographic, or infringing on the rights of any third party.
  • You may only post content that is yours or that you have the right to post.
  • You may not make any post that contains advertising or promotional content.
  • You may not introduce any software viruses, worms or other programs designed to damage software, hardware or telecommunications equipment.
  • You may not collect information about the users of this website or use such information for any purpose.

In addition, you may only post to the Kennedy Center Website if you are 13 or over and subject to the relevant terms of the Kennedy Center Privacy Statement

By posting on any Kennedy Center Website, you grant the Kennedy Center and its related organizations, affiliates and assigns a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable and fully licensable right to use, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and display such content throughout the world via any media now known or hereinafter devised.

²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵÃâ·Ñ°æapp reserves the right to monitor all comments or other postings by patrons and to edit and/or remove any content that the Kennedy Center determines, in its sole discretion, violates any of the above terms or is otherwise inappropriate. ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵÃâ·Ñ°æapp is not responsible for any user-generated content that is posted on the Kennedy Center Website or for any failure or delay in removing such content. ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵÃâ·Ñ°æapp reserves the right to remove comment features at its sole discretion.
