2nd year Social Practice Resident, Helen Zughaib, opens her new exhibit Crossing Borders in the Hall of Nations on World Refugee Day, June 20, 2023. Helen's new installation exhibits wooden tiles with patterns and colors inspired by many different countries and memorializes the people who have lost their lives and homes due to displacement, migration, and war. The exhibit will be open to the public from June 20 - August 15, 2023.

Dr. Elizabeth Rule will also launch her new book Indigenous DC: Native Peoples and the Nation’s Capital. Books will be available for purchase and the author will be available for signing.
