Washington, D.C. native Leigh Pilzer is a baritone saxophone specialist, composer, arranger, and educator. Her performance resumé includes appearances with the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, The DIVA Jazz Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, and more. She is also a bandleader in her own right, leading bands from duo to a septet. Pilzer holds a Doctor of Musical Arts and is on faculty at the University of Maryland, in addition to being a sought-after clinician and presenter. This performance of the Leigh Pilzer Startet features Allyn Johnson on piano, Amy Shook on bass, and Greg Holloway on drums.
For all Millennium Stage performances, a limited number of advance reservations are available on a first come, first served basis. Advance reservations do not guarantee a seat, and patrons are encouraged to arrive early.

For live Millennium Stage performances free tickets will also be available at the Hall of States Box Office on the day of the performance, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Seating is first come, first served. Standing room is available behind the seated area as space allows.
