Be part of Washington’s most popular free holiday event, the Kennedy Center’s Messiah Sing-Along. Back by popular demand, the evening concert features conductor Nancia D’Alimonte as she leads members of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra, guest soloists, a chorus of 150, and a very enthusiastic audience in Handel’s masterpiece. A family and community tradition since 1971!

French pianist Lise de la Salle—“a musical thinker of impressive weight with charm, imagination, and dazzling technique” (The Washington Post)—performs a Schumann masterwork, considered the ultimate romantic piano concerto. Marek Janowski, who in 2019 “conducted a truly memorable, exquisite rendition of Bruckner” with the NSO (Washington Classical Review), returns to lead the composer’s Symphony No. 4.
