Hailed by the New York Times as "startlingly imaginative" and widely acclaimed wherever it performs, Shen Wei Dance Arts fuses the art forms of dance, theater, Chinese opera, painting, sculpture, and Western and Eastern cultures. In this program, the ensemble performs segments of Shen Wei's recent work, Connect Transfer, along with excerpts from his new work, Second Visit to the Empress.
