2024 Kennedy Center Honors Medallion Ceremony

The 2024 Kennedy Center Honorees receive their medallions during a special tribute ceremony held at the State Department on December 7, 2024.

²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵÃâ·Ñ°æapp Honors is an annual honor given to those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American culture. The 2024 class includes: acclaimed director and filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola; legendary American rock band the Grateful Dead (Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, Bobby Weir); blues rock singer-songwriter and guitarist Bonnie Raitt; jazz trumpeter, pianist, and composer Arturo Sandoval; and The Apollo, receiving a special Honors as an iconic American institution.
