*Note: Specially Priced Tickets are not available for pre-school age children or infants.

SPTs are not available at every performance or for all attractions. When available, a limited number of SPTs are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. SPTs are not available for:

• any performances on Saturday evenings;
• Friday evening Shear Madness performances; or
• programs offered at family prices.

When offered, SPTs are available for purchase on the first date the tickets for that attraction go on sale.

How to purchase SPTs

Patrons with permanent disabilities enrolled in the SPT program may purchase up to two SPTs in person at the Kennedy Center Box Office, by phone or by mail, subject to availability:

• In Person: Come to the Kennedy Center Box Office in the Hall of States.
• By Phone: Call Instant-Charge at (202) 467-4600, Mon.-Fri. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is a service charge for phone orders.
• By Mail: Send the name, date, and time of the event along with your SPT patron ID number, printed name, address, daytime telephone number, email address, and credit card number or check to:

  Allow two weeks for mail order processing.

How to show proof of eligibility

Patrons with permanent disabilities who wish to enroll in the SPT program must submit documentation from a reputable source stating that they have a permanent disability, along with their name, address, phone number, and email address:

How to purchase SPTs

Eligible students, seniors, military personnel, and persons on fixed low incomes must come in person to the Kennedy Center Box Office to purchase SPTs. Each eligible person may purchase one SPT ticket per performance, subject to availability.

How to show proof of eligibility

When purchasing tickets at the Box Office, each person must present valid proof of eligibility for SPTs:

• Elementary, junior, and senior high school students must appear in person but need not present identification.
• College, university, and graduate students must present a valid student I.D. or current registration card.
• Senior citizens (age 65 and over) must present a valid government-issued document indicating age.
• Military personnel (E1–E4) must present their military I.D.
• Persons with fixed low incomes can present a Human Resources Card, Peace Corps I.D., food stamps, or proof of a fixed income of less than $9,800 a year.

• If an eligible patron is unable to use an SPT, the ticket can be transferred to another eligible patron or used by a non-eligible patron after the ticket has been upgraded to full price at the Box Office.
• SPTs are not available for pre-school age children or infants.
• SPTs do not apply to programs offered at family prices.
• SPTs cannot be combined with other discount offers.
• All sales, including SPTs, are final.
• SPTs are not available at all performances or for all attractions, are subject to availability, and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
