Roxi Victorian WEEK OF 2/21 - 2/25/2022

Roxi Victorian is a proud product of our Nations Capitol, Washington DC, and the daughter of esteemed educator Dr. Rosa Trapp-Dail and reknowned Civil Rights Activist and Public Relations Guru, Ofield Dukes (1932-2011) A graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts, and the International School of Ballet in Cannes France, she hold a BFA in theater and dance from The Howard University. In addition, she hold a certificate in Shakespeare from the British Academy of Dramatic Arts at Oxford University in Oxford England. Passionate about the arts, and have served as an arts educator for the last decade. She is the current Director of Dance at Episcopal High School of Baton Rouge, and the Founder and Artistic Director of Baton Rouge Hops LLC, The Baton Rouge Hip Hop Festival, dedicated to the cultivation and preservation of Hip Hop culture. Also, former member of Baton Rouge's Of Moving Colors Modern Dance Company, and a founding member of the Dance Collective of Baton Rouge. Roxi previously worked in performance and production management at the DC and NY Hip Hop Theatre Festivals, The Folger Shakespeare Theatre, DC's Studio Theatre,HBO's Def Poetry Jam, MTV Networks, VH1 and BET. She writes "I delight in new work relationships and creative, innovative and progressive projects in my community. I am a lover of music, art and movement, and an advocate of hard work and moral integrity."
