Teatro La Bolsa is an emerging Latin American theatre company uniquely structured as bilingual, interactive, and educational. We take a multicultural approach to theatre, exploring post-dramatic techniques encompassing body-movement, music, lighting, and creativity; all weaving together as theatrical montages for children and adults. As an international collective, we share our Latin-American roots to explore our history and put on stage what human eye forget to see sometimes. We work to extend the theatrical reach through a social lens, sharing out stories with the audience to explore the human identity and role in theatre and life. A key component distinguishing Teatro la Bolsa production is the bilingual performance of these stories. We present linguistically experimental adaptations and design subtitles for all performances, embracing audience-diversity.
