Aadit Shrivastava

Aadit Shrivastava is a composer, pianist, and violist from New Jersey. His music aims to capture fleeting images of the natural world with quasi-minimalist texture and harmony. His works are inspired by visual art, photography, and poetry – anything with vibrant, vivid imagery. Aadit has won four finalist awards from The American Prize in 2024 with an array of orchestral, choral, and chamber works. He is also a 2023 National Young Composers Challenge finalist. His works have been performed by the International Contemporary Ensemble, Yarn/Wire, Transient Canvas, and many more notable 21st-century musicians, with over fifteen premieres under his belt. Aadit currently studies music composition with Daniel Felsenfeld at Juilliard Pre-College.
