Delina Brooks

Delina Patrice Brooks is a multi-hyphenate from San Francisco and Oakland, alike. Her work has been commissioned/presented by Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, National Performance Network, CounterPulse Theater, The Black Choreographers Festival and many more. She’s been nominated for three Isadora Duncan Awards, winning for Outstanding Ensemble Performance in “An Open Love Letter to Black Fathers” which she wrote, produced, directed and starred in. Delina has choreographed / danced for Chance the Rapper on Saturday Night Live!, Kanye West’s Sunday Service at Coachella and more, and was the Movement Director for "Casa de Spirits", a play written and directed by veteran actor Roger Guenveur Smith. Now in Los Angeles, Delina is expanding into TV writing and has moonlighted as executive support staff for shows on ABC, NBC, FOX, FREEFORM, HULU and HBO. A 2023 Disney Writers Program Finalist (1st Alternate) and a multi-hyphenate at heart, Delina's work often marries story with music and champions troubled women who save themselves.
