Turnaround Arts is a program of the Kennedy Center dedicated to ensuring that every kid in America has access to an education rich in the arts, no matter their zip code.

Turnaround Arts strategically uses the arts to transform schools in in overlooked and under-resourced schools across the country. The program impacts students, teachers, and communities by employing the arts to creatively engage students and communities, increase academic success, reshape school culture and climate, and ensure equity. Since its inception, Turnaround Arts has served more than 57,000 students across 17 states and the District of Columbia.
