Grammy® winners Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer will lead and all ages sing-along, strum-along ukulele jam session. Come strum, come sing, come join the fun community and the joy of uke! Other small instruments welcome. Join the chorus, join the band. From folk songs to Beatles songs to jazz classics to a little Motown, we’ll party through a fun repertoire of classics and easy-to-pick-up songs. Lyrics and chords will be posted on their Facebook page on Monday, November 20th. Or you can just wing it in person or via the magical streaming internet.

Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer have enjoyed the title “Social Music Conductors” for many years. They have performed worldwide including in Japan, China, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Israel, Palestine, South Africa, Scotland, Britain, and of course, all over the U.S. and Canada. Billboard Magazine called them, “As close to flawless folk/bluegrass as it gets.” They are directors of the prestigious UKEFEST at the Music Center at Strathmore which is going into its sixteenth year. They are also virtuosos on banjo, guitar, mandolin, percussion and yodeling!

Ticketing & Entry

For all Millennium Stage performances, a limited number of advance reservations are available on a first come, first served basis. Advance reservations do not guarantee a seat, and patrons are encouraged to arrive early.

Online advance reservations for a given performance date will open on a rolling basis, opening every Wednesday two weeks out from the date.

For live Millennium Stage performances free tickets will also be available at the Hall of States Box Office on the day of the performance, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Seating is first come, first served. Standing room is available behind the seated area as space allows.
