Based in Cochabamba, Bolivia, Hughes Schools promotes cultural pride, academic excellence, and artistic brilliance. Featuring 24 dancers and 10 musicians from ages 14 to 18, this award-winning group has performed throughout Latin American, United States, and Italy. Through song and dance, they demonstrate Bolivia鈥檚 remarkable cultural heritage.

Co-presented in association with the Smithsonian Folklife Festival and the Smithsonian Year of Music.
