About the Volunteer Council
Volunteer Council activities promote concert-going, love of music, and music education.
Including…
- Volunteering for the NSO’s Education and Community Engagement programs including the annual In Your Neighborhood week, Sound Health Fridays at The REACH, Summer Music Institute, and NSO Youth Fellowship program.
- Hosting a Welcome Center at National Symphony Orchestra performances.
- Organizing and staffing Musical Play Spaces around NSO Family Concerts to familiarize young children with musical instruments.
