Join the National Symphony Orchestra for our Friday morning Coffee Concerts. Enjoy a full-length performance by the NSO at 11:30 a.m. on select Fridays throughout the season. French pianist Lise de la Salle—“a musical thinker of impressive weight with charm, imagination, and dazzling technique” (The Washington Post)—performs a Schumann masterwork, considered the ultimate romantic piano concerto. Marek Janowski, who in 2019 “conducted a truly memorable, exquisite rendition of Bruckner” with the NSO (Washington Classical Review), returns to lead the composer’s Symphony No. 4.
