Joelle "Chief Joey" Hughley
Joelle "Chief Joey" Hughley has always loved to be on stage, dancing from a young age and continuing to study dance through school. She discovered her love of all things diaspora and Caribbean culture after attending Goucher College in Maryland, where she majored in both dance and business management. As a racial equity advocate and Soka Tribe Chief, she welcomes an open environment for all to experience the joy, love, and acceptance of Carnival with every class.
