Robert Cazimero

Robert Uluwehi Cazimero is a 2008 US Ford Fellow, a grammy-nominated recording artist, Haku mele (composer), and Kumu hula (master teacher of Hawaiian dance). Together with his brother Roland they performed throughout Hawai驶i, the continental US, and internationally. Known as the Bros Cazimero, they have been honored with more than 25 N膩 H艒k奴 Hanohano Awards as the Bros. Cazimero. In 2006 they were inducted into the Hawaiian Music Hall of fame. 

Cazimero '奴niki (graduated through the rituals of hula) as a Kumu hula (master teacher of Hawaiian dance) from Ma'iki Aiu Lake in 1972 and established H膩lau N膩 Kamalei O L墨l墨lehua, an award-winning school of Native Hawaiian dance for men in 1975. The h膩lau has won critical acclaim and awards and was featured in the PBS special, “N膩 Kamalei: Men of Hula. The Robert and the gents of N膩 Kamalei have performed around the world, from the stage of Carnegie Hall in New York to stages in Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle.
